Music Composer
Barbara was born in Pisa and has been playing the piano since she was five years old. She began her musical career as a pianist and was awarded a First-class Honours Degree in Piano at La Spezia's Conservatoire at just 20 years of age.
Her passion for music and film, and her dream of becoming a film composer, inspired her to move to London where she was awarded a place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Barbara studied Composition there and graduated with a BMus(Hons) in 2013. In June 2014, she was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Composition for Screen from the prestigious Royal College of Music.
Barbara has worked with many directors based in cities across the world, including New York, Los Angeles, London, Rome, Madrid, Singapore, Milan. She has written the music for 3 feature films, 3 feature length documentaries and 49 short films.
